Katey has been looking foward to her birthday for months...literally. She had it down- First is Thanksgiving, then Christmas Eve, then Christmas and then "It's my birthday!!!"...On Christmas Day she actually looked at me and said "so tomorrow is my birthday right?". Luckily we didn't have too long to wait. I took the day off of work and spent the entire day with Katey. Joe worked at 1pm so we had the morning together-the four of us went to the Indoor Sports Center and enjoyed the Fun Zone, then McDonalds for lunch (because what birthday isn't complete without some chicken nuggets?) and last night we had Nana and Papa over for supper. Katey helped me bake her cake and she put on all the sprinkles and candles by herself! Here she is blowing out her candles:)
She fell asleep while I was reading to her last night and I cried as I put her down to bed...she is getting so tall and long! She is almost half of my body length now! She is just getting to be such a big girl...love you Katey!
