"I have to Pee!"

Big news at our house. Katey. Is. Potty. Trained!!!!!!! No kidding...she went all weekend with only one true accident and one small dribble! She is so insanely proud of herself, it is so funny see her reaction each time she goes. We always knew when she was finally ready it wouldn't take long...well she made us wait longer than I thought she would, but she apparently knew what she was doing. I feel like a giddy school girl I am so happy she is finally using the toilet and WANTS to use it! No more fighting and crying! Whoo hooo...
She makes me laugh because she will be busy playing and suddenly she will stop what she is doing and announce to anyone who will listen "I have to pee!" all the while racing to her potty chair and frantically pulling at her pants in order to make it on time. Then she ceromoniously takes her pee or poo (yes gross I know, but this is all part of parenting!) and puts it into the big toilet for flushing. We all clap our hands and jump up and down with excitement-I tell her I am so proud of her and she smiles like she has just won a million dollar lottery ticket. Then we start the process all over again.
It was a great way to spend a weekend!

For some reason I cannot get my pictures to download off of my camera today...SO no Christmas pictures to share, I was hoping to just make a little slideshow...we'll see if I can get it working later today.
