Daddy Be A Horsey!

Another daddy post...but this picture makes me smile because this has become a nightly ritual in our house. GAMES. Every night Katey wants to play superballs (this is a made up game), hide and seek, tag, horsey, and climbing (another made up game). Needless to say Katey and Dad are both worn out by the time these games are done, but Katey loves every minute of it. This picture was snapped right before she yells "shake your body!" and Joe will buck her off his back. Then we settle down for five books and bedtime. Katey and Makenna are officially sharing a room now, and it is going fantastic. Makenna goes to bed just before Katey so she is sleeping soundly by the time her noisy sister gets in bed. Two nights ago we listened to Katey sing to herself for about a half hour before she finally fell asleep...she sang Happy Birthday to herself and of course to DORA. Too cute. Luckily both girls are sleeping pretty much through the night these days so we are getting some rest in our house! I cannot say how much sleeping through the night means to me, I LOVE IT. Lets cross our fingers that it lasts!
