Cyber Madness

Okay I just spent the last hour and a half online looking at toys...and more toys...and MORE toys. My oh my, this online shopping is fun! I just thought I would start looking around to see what we might want to shop for this year for the girls. Haven't purchased anything yet but now I have TONS of ideas and my own childhood dreams might be coming true (can you say Barbie Dream Vacation House)...seriously, there is so much out there and most it of makes my heart skip a beat because I can remember being little and loving dolls and loving Barbies-I wanted that Barbie Dreamhouse SO bad. I never got it...but I did have the rockin three level cardboard version of Barbies mansion with the pull string elevator and I loved it all the same! I am excited to celebrate Christmas this year because I am thinking that this year is going to be so much fun...Katey totally gets it and Makenna might not "get it" but she certainly will be thrilled to see a tree full of presents Christmas morning. Gone are the days of simply being excited about the wrapping paper, we are now entering the world of true Christmas magic and I can't wait. Christmas is of course one of my favorite holidays...I have so many fond memories of my childhood and Christmas gifts and surprises. The year I got a new Cabbage Patch doll and clothes to match. Our first Nintendo. The year we got a new VCR!!! WOW, now that was cool...even though I was little and didn't quite understand what it was..everyone else was pumped! My parents always made a huge effort to spoil us at Christmas and it was special every single year (even those years that I was probably bratty and complained about my presents...sorry Mom and Dad). Our tree is up, most of the other decorations are in place and I am getting very excited to enjoy the holidays. Tis the season!
