HGTV right here in my own basement

The finished product. Two days of nonstop painting, cleaning, organizing and stealing things from other rooms to fill this one. I have to say that I am very happy with the result and think this will work for at least a few years until we can afford to completely redo the basement. I do love a good project and oddly love to paint...so even though it was hard work, I loved doing it. The first night I celebrated by having my girlfriends over for a holiday party-we relaxed with the TV on, the computer set to Facebook, food and drinks a plenty...our own little grown up getaway right downstairs. Before I know it, the girls will take the space over and have their friends over so I think I better enjoy it while I can!
