Leaves

Last weekend the girls helped me rake leaves into a huge pile so that we could jump in them and play around. Makenna was so funny because she would get all fired up to jump, and then she would land right on the edge of the leaves...she did figure it out though-and was able to land right in the middle eventually. Katey was actually pretty good at raking, mental note, need to remember that in like 10 years! The turkey here was trotting around the back and side yard with 10 of his family members...no kidding, we have 11 random turkeys living in our neighborhood and they frequently trot through the yard. It takes me by surprise everytime, who knew we would have such wildlife??

Side note: we started raking and mowing up the leaves yesterday....it is a major project and I am pretty sure we still have tons more to deal with since only about 1/3 have fallen! Thankfully we have a riding mower with a bagger, without it we would be in big trouble!
