Makenna is starting to get very adventurous-I was doing dishes the other night and found her in the living room doing this....Lord help me, I doubt I will relax for at least six months

We spent most of Labor Day weekend in Shantytown-it was a nice and relaxing weekend, the weather was beautiful! Unfortunately the bugs were terrible so we spent a few hours outside but had to go indoors. Katey is so sensitive to bites, luckily the bugs appear to like Makenna but she does not swell up like Rocky every time she gets a bite. We attended the Rosholt Fair on Saturday-this was so much fun for me b/c I have so many memories of this fair! We went every year and it is sometimes good to see that things don't change much! Apparently the fair grounds had gotten pretty bad so this year a crew of church volunteers cleaned it up, it looked great. We enjoyed some fresh home made french fries...with a freezing cold hamburger and hot dog on the side:) We didn't stay too long, the rides and games are pricey. I think Joe spent ten dollars on two small stuffed animals-good times. Joe and I rode the scrambler together...I honestly do not remember the last time I took a ride at a fair...for one little second I was worried my theory of showing Katey not to be afraid of rides would backfire and I would vomit everywhere after the ride! It was just fine. Actually it was really fun-Joe and I laughed a lot because we had not remembered how fast that thing went!

Hey there! Reid does the same thing, stands and climbs, makes me crazy!
We also went to the fair! Looks like Katey liked the pricey rides! We managed to consume cheese curds and a $5 ice cream cone and when I say cone I mean a cone filled just to the top of the cone with ice cream, no scoop on top, just filled...HA. Saving the elephant ear for this weekend at Panacea.
