Makenna has been working hard on crawling and learning how to stand up-she even lets go and stands alone at times! We were shocked the first time she did it-Joe and I both cannot believe she is getting to the age she will be standing and walking on her own. It is so funny because I really don't want her to learn these things! I am NOT ready, I want her to say little and sweet and cuddly for just a few more months! I am excited to see her grow and change, but still a little sad that this year is going so fast! One great thing is watching Katey and Makenna together-they really love each other and have so much fun together. Makenna laughs at basically anything Katey does and Katey loves the attention! They play peek a boo and Katey has even started including Makenna in her make believe games/adventures. It is a joy to watch this relationship develop and I pray all the time that they grow up and learn to appreciate what a gift they have in each other-being a sister is a very special thing.
We are finally (well not today) having some nice weather and it is starting to feel a little more like summer. We are enjoying being outside whenever possible, going for stroller rides and stopping at the park are daily outtings now. Katey is a bit harder to convince to ride in the stroller b/c she wants to ride her bike or use her scooter...but Makenna loves to kick back and enjoy the ride. I bought this stroller in February-longing for the day that I would be able to use it-I really believe this was money WELL SPENT. I love this stroller and love that we can go places so easily now.

It is so great that it is finally warm enough to do all the fun summer stuff!! Enjoy, the girls look so cute and like little summer kids.
It is great that they love each other so much...and it's great you have it in writing, cuz you can go back and remind yourself of this time, once the sister fights begin.
